Course Description |
|
Introduction to the theory and applications of
computer vision. Topics include: image formation, camera models, camera
calibration, 3-D model building by stereo vision, shape from motion and shape
from shading/texture. Students should have a solid capability in linear
algebra, and a familiarity with numerical techniques and geometry. Some
programming experience is expected as well as an understanding of the issues in
artificial intelligence. A background in digital image processing (acquired
through the ECE618 course) is encouraged.
